Gridular specimen from CoType Foundry

A grid-based pixel display face from CoType, inspired by Wim Crouwel's Architype Stedelijk, with slightly rounded pixel connections and proportional spacing that gives it more range than a typical pixel font.

About

Gridular builds letterforms on a strict pixel grid – lowercase at 5×7, uppercase at 6×7 – with slightly rounded corners on the connections, softening what could otherwise feel purely technical. Despite its pixel-font appearance, it includes kerning and proportional spacing, making it more versatile than most display faces of this kind. A Stylistic Set provides true monospaced alternates for key characters, and the set includes a full complement of arrows and specialised all-caps punctuation.

Classification
