A five-variant display family from Satya Rajpurohit that progresses through dot, square, rounded and bridged grid constructions, all sharing identical character widths and spacing.
About
Each of the five styles is derived from a strict grid in which capital letters and ascenders stand nine units tall, the x-height runs seven units, and descenders occupy two units below the baseline. Ray One uses dots, Ray Two fills those positions with abutting squares, Ray Three rounds those squares, Ray Four adds bridges between gaps, and Ray Five re-squares Ray Four's rounded elements. All five share OpenType features including lining and oldstyle figures and alternates for characters such as Q, R, S and g.
Classification
Derived from a strict dot-and-grid system inspired by digital display typefaces, with five variants progressing from dot-matrix to pixel-square to rounded and bridged forms. The explicitly decorative, screen-referencing construction places it firmly in the display category.
