BN Canyon takes Henri Jules Ferdinand's Le Bellery Desfontaines specimen as its foundation, with each character individually modified and refined to function at screen and digital resolutions. New characters were created alongside the adapted originals to fill out the set, which covers English, Swedish and broader European punctuation and letters. The typeface balances historical reference with practical digital usability.
