Jabaya specimen from Babelfont

A seven-weight multiscript sans-serif spanning Latin, Arabic and Tifinagh, distinguished by exaggerated inktraps that add sharpness to an otherwise industrially neutral geometry.

About

Jabaya balances rational proportions and minimal stroke contrast with a deliberate stylistic flourish: prominently cut inktraps that give the letterforms a crisp, angular personality. The design targets corporate identity, signage and digital interfaces where script harmony across Latin, Arabic and Tifinagh is essential. Seven weights run consistently across all three scripts, sold either as a Latin-only package or a combined Arabic, Tifinagh and Latin family.

Classification

A multiscript geometric sans-serif with minimal stroke contrast and industrial neutrality, unified across Latin, Arabic and Tifinagh scripts. Exaggerated inktraps introduce a distinctive stylistic character within an otherwise clean, rational structure.
