MegaMegaTypeType
A heavy display sans with rounded, bulbous letterforms referencing the visual mass of mid-century military hardware such as the Sherman tank and B-52 bomber.
About
AF Millie comes in five weights from Light to Heavy, each sharing the same thick, expansive character construction that gives the family its blunt, commanding presence. OpenType alternates offer variant forms for G, J, K, M, Q, R, Y and a slab treatment for I and i, providing some flexibility within its otherwise assertive personality. Latin coverage extends across Western European languages with accented character support.
Classification
A bold, heavy-weighted display sans with bulbous, rounded letterforms designed for impact at large sizes, drawing on industrial and military visual cues rather than any classical grotesque or geometric tradition.
