MegaMegaTypeType
A wide display sans from abbr projects with an extensive suite of OpenType alternates covering slanted strokes, swapped serifs and variant letterforms.
About
AF Geordi is offered in a single Extended width and includes a substantial set of OpenType features: slanted variants for A, M, V and W, alternate forms for B, E, F, G, K, R, U and Y, bilateral T variants, and a set of standard ligatures spanning both upper and lower case pairs. The range of alternates allows for considerable stylistic variation within a single style, making it suited to logotype and headline work.
Classification
A display sans with extensive OpenType alternates including slanted strokes, alternate letterforms and ligatures, suggesting a stylised, editorial character rather than a neutral workhorse. The wide Extended style and the variety of alternate glyphs position it firmly in the display category.
