A single-weight display serif drawing from Lubalin and Di Spigna's Serif Gothic, enlivened with alternative characters and unusual ligatures for a more playful result.
About
BM Alaric takes the geometric, hairline-serif aesthetic of Serif Gothic as its starting point, then departs from it with the Biliktu Foundry's own decorative sensibility. A set of alternative characters and rare ligatures gives the face more personality than the reference material it cites. At present it ships in Regular only, making it best suited to headline and branding work.
Classification
Takes clear cues from Lubalin and Di Spigna's Serif Gothic, a display face notable for its geometric forms with hairline serifs. BM Alaric extends that lineage with alternative characters and ligatures, placing it firmly in the display serif category.
