displayGeometric display sans with calligraphic flourishes
Base&Bloom specimen from 6TM Magazine

A single-weight experimental display sans that grafts high-contrast Didone swashes onto a geometric monoline structure, with 1,257 glyphs, seven stylistic sets and up to 11 alternates per glyph.

About

Base&Bloom fuses a geometric monoline sans skeleton with ornate high-contrast flourishes, treating swashes as structural elements rather than decorative additions. The result ranges from a techno script to a brutalist grotesque depending on which stylistic set you draw on. It suits posters, album covers, packaging and editorial headlines; it is not a text face.
