Altotype
6TM Magazine · Hvnter (Hunter E. Anson) · 2023

A single-weight rounded display face from Perth-based designer Hvnter, offering per-letter alternates to vary compositions in logo and editorial settings.
About
Altotype is a bold, heavily rounded display typeface designed for headline and identity work. It ships with 183 glyphs including A–Z, numerals and basic symbols, plus multiple alternates per letter to give designers variation without switching fonts. There is one weight and no italic or condensed cut; the appeal is the consistency of the rounded forms and the flexibility the alternates provide.
Classification
Single-weight rounded display typeface with heavy, uniform curves throughout. Features multiple glyph alternates per letter rather than optical size or weight variation. Closest to a geometric display with exaggerated roundness — sits in display rather than sans-serif because it is decorative-first.
