A variable display typeface from Brazil, born from a branding project, with 16 styles spanning Thin to ExtraBold and a slant axis across 95 languages.
About
Estelar grew from a handful of modular letterforms drawn for a brand identity, developed into a full family during Plau's FontePro course and released as Zanon Type Foundry's debut typeface. Variable weight and slant axes give designers granular control, while a subtle calligraphic quality tempers the otherwise technological character. Its 400-glyph set covers 95 languages, with best use in logos, headlines, packaging and web interfaces.
Classification
A modular geometric sans-serif with a subtle calligraphic inflection, designed for high-impact display use in branding and editorial contexts. Its variable weight and slant axes place it firmly in the contemporary display category.
