An Art Deco-inspired display face from 2009 with geometric letterforms, OpenType alternates and ligatures suited to fashion, branding and editorial work.
About
Drawing from the decorative typography of the 1920s and 1930s, YWFT Pineapple brings a retro geometric character to display settings while incorporating OpenType alternates and ligatures for compositional flexibility. The design sits comfortably across book cover design, fashion editorial and logo work where a period aesthetic is required. Designed by Travis Stearns, a Minnesota-based graphic designer and typographer with credits spanning Wired, Nylon and Swindle magazines.
Classification
