MegaMegaTypeType
A high-contrast Didone serif from YouWorkForThem, offered in eight weights with matching italics and a glyph set of over 500 characters per weight.
About
Drawing from the Bodoni and Didot tradition, YWFT Galtino pairs sharp serifs and strong stroke contrast with transitional serif sensibilities borrowed from faces such as Garamond and Times New Roman. The family spans eight weights with matching italics, and each weight includes over 500 glyphs with OpenType features including discretionary ligatures, fractions, subscript and superscript. Language support extends across Western and Central European Latin, Greek, Turkish and Pan African Latin scripts.
Classification
High-contrast letterforms with sharp serifs place this squarely in the Didone tradition, drawing explicitly from Bodoni and Didot while incorporating transitional serif influences in its overall structure.
