Guadalupe specimen from Latinotype

A Didone display typeface by Daniel Hernández designed for fashion, luxury branding and logotypes, offered in two terminal variants and with an extensive set of alternates and swashes.

About

Guadalupe draws from the classic Didot tradition, combining high stroke contrast with carefully refined details suited to upmarket editorial and branding contexts. Two terminal variants define its range: the conventional 'Regular' roman and the more expressive 'Gota', intended for more characterful word setting. An extensive set of alternates and swashes gives designers considerable flexibility within a single family.

Classification

Guadalupe sits firmly in the Didone tradition, with high contrast between thick and thin strokes characteristic of the classic Didot style. The presence of swashes, alternates and expressive terminal variants reinforces its roots in refined, high-contrast display typography.
