About
Originally constructed from raw pixels in 1998 and mastered to a working format in 2003, YWFT Bit was converted to OpenType in 2010 and was formerly known as Praun. Its range of weights introduces meaningful variation in stroke width, from a slender thin to an inflated ExtraBold suited to heavy headline use. The design occupies the bitmap genre while exploring proportional and structural differences that distinguish it from generic pixel fonts.
