On a mission to create the world’s biggest index of typefaces from the world’s best type foundries

sans-serifgeometric sanscondenseditalic
Unifora specimen from Yep! Type Foundry

A uniwidth sans-serif superfamily of 5 widths and 9 weights, built on DIN-derived constructed logic with cap-centred vertical metrics and a three-axis variable font covering weight, width and slant.

About

Each of the five sub-families – Condensed, Narrow, Standard, Semiexpanded and Expanded – holds glyph advance widths constant across all weights and styles within that width, so text never reflows when weight changes. Cap-centred vertical metrics pair with an x-height at 70% of cap height, making labels read as optically centred on buttons and beside icons without per-size CSS adjustments. Italic and retalic styles extend to 18° of slant in both directions, with the variable font spanning all three axes simultaneously.

Classification

Constructed sans-serif in the tradition of DIN and technical lettering, built on strict geometric principles with uniwidth metrics across all weights and styles within each width variant.
