About
PicNic reads sensory experience into type: the path of a water drop on oilcloth, tree-leaf shadows on a picnic blanket, an ant's route to a slice of watermelon. Mariel Nils built it mainly for French, with a cloud of contextual and inclusive ligatures that substitute the midpoint automatically. It came out as a co-release with NoFoundry, the student foundry of HfG Karlsruhe.
