About
Originating at a workshop held at the RoSa library in Brussels in November 2018, the typeface adds gender-inclusive glyphs to an existing Fraktur base, responding to a talk on the relationship between typography and political power. In 2024, Léna Salabert-Triby revised and completed the integration of post-binary ligatures. Released under the OFL, it has been used in activist and cultural contexts including zines and printed materials.
Classification
A Fraktur-style blackletter derived from Peter Wiegel's Unifraktur Maguntia, extended with inclusive and post-binary ligatures. The blackletter classification is unambiguous given its Fraktur skeleton and historical script conventions.
