A twelve-font display sans that folds gaffer tape into sharp, standardised letterforms, in angular and rounded cuts.
About
Gaffeur takes the improvised tape-lettering of signs and sports jerseys and refines it. Curves become angles, widths are regularised and the numerals line up. Twelve fonts in all: Regular, Bold and Black, then Bold Condensed, Extra Condensed and Compressed, each in an angular and a rounded cut, backed by alternates, ligatures, arrows and symbol sets.
Classification
An all-angles display sans built on the idea of folded tape, with standardised glyph widths and a rounded-corner companion; drawn for headlines and signage rather than running text.
