Centrale Sans Condensed
Typedepot · Alexander Nedelev and Veronika Slavova · 2021

A purpose-drawn condensed companion to Centrale Sans, offering nine weights with matching italics and broad Latin, Cyrillic and Greek coverage across 827 glyphs per style.
About
Designed from scratch rather than mechanically compressed, Centrale Sans Condensed sits approximately 15% narrower than its parent while retaining the same open apertures and generous x-height. The family spans nine weights from Hairline to Extra Bold, each with a matching italic, and includes OpenType features such as small caps, tabular figures and stylistic sets. Cyrillic support covers Russian, Belarusian, Serbian, Macedonian, Ukrainian and Bulgarian, with Greek added in the 2021 release.
Classification
A condensed sans-serif that blends grotesque structure with humanist traits – open apertures and a generous x-height. Designed as a companion to Centrale Sans rather than a mechanically narrowed derivative.
