MegaMegaTypeType
A wide geometric sans serif with 21 styles and a variable font, rebuilt from TypeType's earlier TT Travels with a larger character set and text-optimised proportions.
About
TT Travels Text refines and expands the original TT Travels, increasing the x-height, opening apertures and removing ink traps from bold weights to produce a cleaner, more neutral appearance suited to continuous reading. The family comprises 20 static styles plus a variable font with weight and slant axes, 990 glyphs per style, and support for 230+ languages across Latin and Cyrillic scripts. Numerous stylistic sets offer alternate letterforms for I, G, a, g and figures, giving designers flexibility without departing from the typeface's calm, even character.
Classification
A wide geometric sans serif with slightly squared ovals and increased x-height, designed for text setting. Proportions and apertures are optimised for readability at running-text sizes, placing it firmly in the geometric sans tradition.
