MegaMegaTypeType
A unicase geometric sans with rounded uppercase letterforms and a slightly short x-height, aimed at video, branding and editorial work.
About
Ykar blends contemporary rounded uppercase forms with a futuristic sensibility, presented as a unicase design that collapses the distinction between upper and lowercase. Version 1.0 ships with 91 glyphs per weight and covers a broad range of Latin-script languages. It suits projects where a clean, forward-looking identity is needed without the neutrality of a conventional grotesque.
Classification
Described as a unicase modern and futuristic sans serif, mixing rounded uppercase letterforms with a contemporary aesthetic; the unicase treatment and display intent place it firmly in the display category with geometric sans characteristics.
