Built on primitive geometric shapes in the tradition of Paul Renner's Futura and Rudolf Koch's Kabel, Temper rounds off the sharper angles that characterise those 1927 precedents to arrive at letterforms that are less austere without abandoning graphic clarity. Stroke distribution remains uniform throughout, and contrast between letter widths is deliberately maintained for textural consistency. Three weights – Book, Regular and Bold – make the family functional across both body text and display contexts.
