A geometric display sans drawn by artist Honza Zamojski using a ruler and draftsman's curve, accompanied by a set of pictograms that extend the typeface into a parallel visual language.
About
Developed over several years through Zamojski's artistic practice, Rubin Sans appeared first in his drawings, murals, sculptures and art books before being formalised as a digital typeface. Its letterforms were conceived for ease of construction on a grid, and the proportions evolved during digitisation. The accompanying pictogram set, rooted in Zamojski's own drawings, functions as an independent visual system open to multiple interpretations.
Classification
A display-oriented geometric sans constructed with ruler and draftsman's curve, giving it a stencil-derived, modular character well suited to large-scale and architectural applications.
