Questa takes the vertical stress and sharp contrast of Didot and Bodoni and gives them stronger, unbracketed serifs that hold up at text sizes. Five weights with italics, small caps and four sets of figures make it a real book and magazine face. The Regular is a free download from The Questa Project; the other styles are sold.

Contemporary serif drawing on the classicist Didones (Didot, Bodoni, Walbaum) without reviving any of them: stronger contrast than a transitional face, but sturdier, unbracketed serifs built for text. Small caps, four figure sets and ligatures.
