MegaMegaTypeType
A six-subfamily superfamily offering Modern, Slab, Roundslab, Sans, Serif and Italic variants, each running six weights from Thin to Bold.
About
Telex presents a unified type system across six stylistically distinct subfamilies, allowing designers to mix serif, sans and slab treatments within a single coherent weight range. Every subfamily runs from Thin to Bold in six steps, with OpenType features including small capitals, oldstyle figures, ordinals, superscript and fractions throughout. The dedicated Italic subfamily, rather than being paired individually to each upright, functions as a standalone slanted variant within the system.
Classification
Telex is a superfamily spanning five distinct styles – Modern, Slab, Roundslab, Sans and Serif – plus a dedicated Italic subfamily, making categorical classification of any single style secondary to the family's breadth. The serif subfamilies suggest a transitional or contemporary serif foundation shared across all variants.
