About

Rawlinson Roadway updates and expands NPS Roadway, the signage font Montalbano originally developed during a National Park Service identity redesign to replace the Clarendon they had been using. Testing found it out-performed Clarendon by 11 percent in readability while taking up 10 to 15 percent less space. It includes oldstyle figures and small caps, and covers extended Latin for western and central European languages.
