Dioda

A single-weight display face lifted directly from an old Radio Shack cassette tape logo, carrying the flavour of 1970s–80s consumer electronics branding.
About
Dioda's source material is a found artefact – a Radio Shack logo on a cassette tape – which gives it an authenticity that purely invented retro faces often lack. Only a Bold weight is available, reflecting the singular, emphatic character of the original logotype. Its natural territory is headline and short-form display work where that period flavour is the point.
Classification
A display typeface derived from a vintage Radio Shack logo, placing it firmly in the retro/novelty display category with likely geometric or modular letterform construction characteristic of 1970s–80s consumer electronics branding.
