MegaMegaTypeType
A single-weight heavy display sans from Taylor Penton, built for bold titling with an irregular, sun-baked character.
About
Magic Oyster comes in one weight only, designed for headlines and logotypes where personality takes priority over versatility. The letterforms have a loosely constructed, hand-hewn quality that sets it apart from conventional sans families. Western European language support is broad, including Icelandic and Welsh, and the package includes OTF, WOFF and WOFF2 files under a straightforward flat-rate commercial licence.
Classification
A heavy, single-weight display sans with a deliberately rough, informal character. The description of letters 'chopped up together' suggests irregular, expressive construction suited to titling rather than text use.
