A geometric display face built on a pseudo-stencil principle, where strokes terminate short of junctions to emphasise the single-stroke construction of each character.
About
Kroppen Round grew from experiments with the angular stroke logic of Kaleko Round, developing a design where internal junctions are avoided by cutting strokes before they meet, producing a stencil-like aesthetic without full stencilling. The rounded terminals soften the mechanical quality of the construction, lending the face a friendly rather than industrial tone. Four weights from Thin to Bold are included, with an extended character set covering Central European languages.
Classification
A geometric, monoline display face with a pseudo-stencil construction where strokes are terminated short of junctions rather than fully bridged, emphasising the geometry of each letterform. The rounded terminals and single-stroke logic place it firmly in display territory.
