MegaMegaTypeType
A seven-weight geometric sans-serif that takes Futura and Avant Garde as its starting point, aiming for greater geometric purity with a near-circular O and extended character set for accented languages.
About
Korto pushes geometric construction further than its acknowledged references, with the G in particular demonstrating a more resolved circular logic. Width varies considerably across the 26 characters, with wider and narrower forms working together to produce balanced setting. Seven weights from Thin to Ultra give the family broad range for both text and display use.
Classification
Explicitly geometric sans-serif inspired by Futura and Avant Garde, with near-circular O and consistent geometric construction throughout. The designer claims greater geometric purity than its references, with narrow letterforms such as E and F creating rhythmic width variation.
