Kinsey takes the bulbous serifs and soft curves of traditional typewriter type as its starting point, stripping away the grime and wear that characterises most typewriter-inspired fonts. The result is an upright, legible slab suited to both editorial text and headline use across five weights. The accompanying italic is largely redrawn with modified characters to give it a natural, flowing rhythm distinct from a simple slanted roman.
