Courtesy Script is based on an alphabet found in a nineteenth-century penmanship journal, its wide monoline lowercase connections keeping it readable while the capitals range from merely fancy to full engrossing flourish. It won a Certificate of Excellence at the Communication Arts Typography competition.

Modelled on the understated Zanerian school of Spencerian penmanship, with a monoline lowercase distinct from the more flourished capitals.
