Bibliophile Script specimen from Sudtipos

A script marrying Round Hand calligraphy with Italian capitals, drawn from Louis Prang's nineteenth-century pages.

About

Bibliophile takes its raw material from pages by Louis Prang, the Prussian-American printer who also inspired the Prangs fonts, this time combining Round Hand lowercase with Italian capitals rather than the italic Didone pairing of that earlier project. Regular and Bold weights give it some range for stationery and editorial work.

Classification

Combines Round Hand calligraphy with Italian capitals, an unusual pairing that sets it apart from Sudtipos's more common brush or copperplate scripts.
