Tenebra combines a baroque inscriptional majuscule with calligraphic flourishes and alchemistic symbols, built as capitals only. Storm even folds the old German umlaut convention, a reduced e above the letter, into the design's decorative forms. Shaded and Old Face variants extend it for texture and a rougher historical mood.
