An old-style serif whose letterforms were adjusted for CNC-milled engraving on memorial and signage plaques.

About

Mediaeval takes its name from the old-style Antiqua tradition and was shaped with a practical constraint in mind: its letters carry a regular inner radius so they mill cleanly on CNC signage equipment. Storm shows it used on engraved plaques, including one marking Franz Kafka's birthplace in Prague. That physical discipline gives it a slightly firmer, more geometric edge than a typical old-style face.
