House Grotesk specimen from Standard Type Foundry

A workmanlike grotesk in normal, condensed and compressed widths.

About

House Grotesk is a plain-spoken grotesk that reads well in text and tightens up for headlines. The preview shows a Medium, a Condensed Regular and a Compressed Semibold. Nothing is released yet.

Classification

Plain grotesk construction: closed apertures, flat terminals, a two-storey g and even stroke weight. The Condensed and Compressed cuts keep the same skeleton at narrower widths.
