A three-weight geometric sans by Laurenz Brunner and Fabio Menet, drawn from the machine branding and print ephemera of Austrian tractor maker Reform.
About
Inspired by the distinctive R logo on a Reform Muli transporter spotted in the Swiss mountains in 2019, the typeface spent nearly five years in development. Its forms balance the technical precision of machine-milled letterforms with organic curves drawn from tractor manuals, farming equipment catalogues and agronomical trade fair leaflets. Three weights – Regular, Medium and Bold – are supported by an extended Latin character set and OpenType features including contextual alternates, case-sensitive forms and tabular figures.
Classification
A geometric sans with an industrial build, drawn from the branding of Austrian agricultural vehicle maker Reform: milled, mechanical forms softened by organic curves.
