Marbra Mono specimen from Slow Fonts

A monospaced companion to Marbra, translating the original's stone-engraved character into a fixed-pitch format across Regular and Italic styles.

About

Designed by Fabien Coupas in 2020–2021, Marbra Mono applies the monospace constraint to a letterform vocabulary rooted in engraved stone inscriptions. The result is deliberately paradoxical, lending the family a playful quality that distinguishes it from conventional coding or text monospaces. OpenType features include oldstyle figures, a slash zero, and superior letters for ordinals.

Classification

A monospaced typeface adapted from Marbra, itself inspired by stone-engraved lettering. The fixed-pitch constraint gives it an unusual character among mono fonts, blending lapidary origins with the rigid grid of monospace.
