A contemporary text serif rooted in 15th-century Italian and French renaissance models, spanning Thin to ExtraBold with italics across Latin, Cyrillic and Greek scripts.

About

Sharp Serif Text PanEuro is a text-optimised serif drawn from the classical models of the 15th-century Italian masters and French renaissance printers, redrawn for contemporary screen and print. Designed under Lucas Sharp's direction by Connor Davenport, My-Lan Thuong and Léna Le Pommelet, it runs Thin to ExtraBold with matching italics – twelve styles in total. The PanEuro character set adds Cyrillic and Greek alongside an extensive Latin, supporting hundreds of languages across three scripts.

Classification

Contemporary text serif drawing explicitly on 15th-century Italian humanist letterforms and French renaissance types – the Venetian and Garalde tradition. Moderate x-height, restrained contrast, optical sizing calibrated for running text. Six weights, Thin through ExtraBold, each with a matching italic. The PanEuro variant extends the character set to Latin (extensive), Cyrillic and Greek scripts.
