Released in February 2025, Record Laser is one half of Sharp Type's Record Superfamily, the other being the softer and more versatile Record Disc. Its letterforms are defined by exaggerated width variation and extreme angularity, drawing direct influence from Roger Excoffon's Antique Olive Nord and Dick Jensen's Serpentine. The family runs to five weights with matching italics, making it a focused tool for branding and display work that calls for a period-specific, high-voltage edge.
