A 24-style variable display family that fuses serif and sans-serif forms within a single design, spanning six weights across four optical sizes for large-scale and logotype work.
About
Zinkraft merges conventionally opposed typographic traits – serif and sans, upright and italic – into a cohesive display typeface with 603 glyphs and a 2-axis variable font covering weight (400–900) and optical size (20–144). The four optical sizes (Poster, Display, Headline, Text) allow the family to adapt from billboard-scale lockups to smaller headline use. Extended Latin language support and a full suite of OpenType features, including oldstyle figures, discretionary ligatures and contextual alternates, give designers considerable compositional flexibility.
Classification
Zinkraft deliberately blurs categorical boundaries, combining serif and sans forms with upright and italic angles in a single family. Its optical size range and weight spread position it firmly as a display type, designed for logotypes and large-scale applications rather than body text.
