MegaMegaTypeType
A condensed slab serif in 27 styles, rooted in Central European 19th-century advertising typography and designed as a companion to Ganges Sans.
About
Ganges Slab offers nine weights, each with both italic and oblique variants, giving designers a practical range for editorial, poster and packaging work. Its narrow proportions and period-inflected letterforms carry a confident retro character without resorting to pastiche. The 710-glyph set includes oldstyle figures, discretionary ligatures and extended Latin language support across over 90 languages.
Classification
A condensed Egyptian-style slab serif with narrow proportions and bracketed serifs, drawing on Central European 19th-century advertising and poster typography. Its condensed construction and retro character distinguish it from more neutral contemporary slab serifs.
