About
Okima translates dot-matrix printer output into a contemporary typeface, naming each weight by its ink coverage rather than the conventional Light–Bold scale. The family runs from Ink 34 – fine, speckled dots – to Ink 200, where strokes are dense and fully merged. Fourteen static styles and a two-axis variable font give it unusual range for a display mono, making it a credible choice for editorial, identity and interface work that wants the texture of retro output hardware.
