Designed over four years from 2012 to 2016, Girott applies a subtractive design principle – shapes carved out rather than drawn – producing a compressed sans with a precise, near-industrial character. The two-weight family handles display and editorial headline use well, with broad Latin and Cyrillic coverage including Bulgarian alternates. Pesko's conceptual rigour gives it a clarity rare among compressed grotesques.
