About
Zhikharev originates from the Soviet type design tradition, created at the Polygraphmash institute from the designer's personal handwriting. The digital revival by Baryshnikov preserves the casual, even-stroked character of the original, making it suited to both running text and display settings. A single Regular style is available, carrying discretionary ligatures to support its informal, connected quality.
