A two-style decorative display face designed in 1993 at Double Alex Font Studio, inspired by artwork by Grigory Klikushin, with heavy serif letterforms suited to poster and magazine settings.
About
The specimen shows wide, high-contrast serif capitals with ornamental detailing that gives the typeface a folk-inflected, celebratory quality. Two styles are offered: Bold and Outline, the latter lending itself to layered or colour-fill treatments. Designed by Alexey Chekulaev, the face draws its visual character from Grigory Klikushin's artwork.
Classification
The specimen shows heavy, wide serif letterforms with strong stroke contrast, flared serifs and ornamental interior detailing consistent with a decorative display style. The Outline cut reinforces its poster-oriented character.
