Designed by Alexander Lubovenko and released by ParaType in 2016, Bombarda pushes stroke thickness and serif mass to their limits to create a single-weight display face with a deliberately loud presence. Available in one style only, it suits large-scale applications where typographic weight does the talking: posters, packaging, magazine covers and branding. Its retro-inflected character gives it crossover appeal for comics and entertainment contexts.
