Designed by Nikolay Vsesvetsky at SoftUnion in 1994, Secession draws on Art Nouveau sensibilities with open apertures and subtly organic terminals visible in the specimen. The family spans four weights and is suited to display and editorial contexts such as posters and magazines.
Classification
The specimen shows a low-contrast humanist sans with open apertures, rounded terminals and subtly organic stroke endings that point toward Art Nouveau influence. The letterforms are upright and relatively narrow without being a formal condensed cut.
