Designed with a narrow structure and slanted curved ends, Das Grotesk avoids the monotony of purely geometric grotesques through subtle distinguishing details that read clearly at display sizes yet recede at text sizes. The family includes true italics throughout, two-storey 'a' and 'g' with single-storey alternates, and advanced OpenType features including small caps and old-style figures. Simultaneous support for Latin, Cyrillic and Greek makes it broadly deployable across multilingual editorial and corporate contexts.
