A monoline geometric sans with uniformly rounded terminals, designed by Alexey Chekulaev in 1997 at Double Alex Font Studio, based on Robert Kirchner's Isonorm (1993).
About
Built on the foundation of Isonorm, Normalize shares that face's technical, constructed character: consistent stroke width, open letterforms and circular geometry throughout. Four styles are offered – Light, Regular, Italic and Bold – covering basic text and document use. The rounded terminals give it a soft, approachable quality suited to handbooks and paragraph-level setting.
Classification
The specimen shows a geometric, monoline sans-serif with uniformly rounded terminals and open apertures, consistent with the Isonorm lineage. Letterforms are constructed on near-circular geometric principles with no stroke contrast.
